Nicole Harwood founded Harwood House from her love of hospitality, creativity, and community. Guided by her faith, its mission is to bring people together through meaningful experiences rooted in creativity, conversation, and connection. Every detail is thoughtfully considered—from the curated retail offerings and hands-on creative workshops to the cozy setting where guests can enjoy beer, wine, and light bites. Harwood House is a place to gather, slow down, share meaningful moments, and leave feeling refreshed.
The vision for Harwood House grew out of Nicole’s lifelong passion for creating spaces that are both beautiful and welcoming. Long before her idea came to life, she nurtured creativity and connection within her own home—teaching sewing classes, exploring various art forms, and crafting alongside her three daughters. Paired with her professional background in event planning and community outreach, these experiences inspired a space designed for people to create, celebrate, and give back.
A Southern California native, Nicole finds inspiration in the everyday moments of life. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family and friends, walking and seashell hunting along local beaches, hiking, traveling and antiquing.
