Our Story

Harwood House is a space for creativity, connection, and gathering.

We created Harwood House as a place to come together. A place where creativity is shared, conversations unfold, and people feel at home.

In the middle of busy lives, this is where you can slow down and reconnect with yourself, with others, and with the simple joy of creating.

Spend time in the Art Café, join a workshop, attend a community gathering, host a private event, or stop in and see what is unfolding. There is always something to experience and someone to meet.

Everything here is shaped with intention, from curated retail and creative experiences to community gatherings and opportunities to celebrate. Harwood House exists to bring people together.

Come as you are. Stay awhile. Create, gather, and make this space your own.

Come to the table in Summer 2026.

Why We Gather

Harwood House is a place to create, gather, celebrate, and be inspired, where connection and belonging can grow.

We believe in choosing connection over the pace of everyday life.

Our hope is that those who step into Harwood House slow down, become present, and reconnect with themselves and others, leaving renewed.

INSPIRE

Meet Nicole

Nicole Harwood founded Harwood House from a deep love of hospitality, creativity, and bringing people together. Guided by her faith, she dreamed of creating a space where others could gather, create, and feel a sense of belonging.

Long before Harwood House, Nicole was living out that vision in her own home through sewing classes, shared meals, art, and creating alongside her three daughters. With a background in event planning and community outreach, opening Harwood House felt like a natural extension of what she has always loved: creating spaces where people feel welcomed and connected.

A Southern California native, Nicole finds inspiration in simple, meaningful moments, from beach walks and antiquing to time with her husband Dave and their growing family. That spirit of warmth and togetherness is woven into everything Harwood House is today.

“I created Harwood House to be a place where people can slow down, connect, and feel at home.”

– Nicole Harwood, Founder
